1. Our approach
LearnForgePlus aims to provide a usable website and learning environment for people with different abilities, devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility informs our approach to navigation, content structure, interactive controls, forms, course materials and learner activities.
2. Accessibility standards
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a design and evaluation reference. This describes an objective, not a claim of independent certification or complete conformance. Accessibility depends on the implementation of particular pages, features, integrations and uploaded material.
We aim to make key functions operable by keyboard, give controls useful labels, provide visible focus indications and sufficient colour contrast, and present meaningful information in ways that do not depend solely on visual formatting.
3. Creator and third-party material
Creators should publish course material with appropriate headings, alt text, captions or transcripts where reasonably required, and should avoid assessments that unnecessarily exclude users with disabilities. Videos, payment tools and embedded external services may have distinct accessibility characteristics.
Content creators and LearnForgePlus may each have legal obligations depending on their respective roles and the circumstances. Nothing on this page removes rights under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) or other applicable law.
4. Reporting a barrier and requesting assistance
If a page, course feature or task is not accessible to you, email [email protected]. Please include the relevant URL or feature and a description of the barrier. You may also identify the device, browser or assistive technology if you choose, but do not need to disclose a medical diagnosis.
We will consider the report and, where reasonably practicable, look for a correction or alternative means of accessing the affected service. The response will depend on the issue, its impact and applicable legal obligations.
5. Continuing improvements
Accessibility needs change as the website, content and assistive technologies evolve. We will review identified barriers and prioritise improvements according to risk, user impact and available means, without limiting any non-excludable rights.
